Brunch @ Group Therapy

Group Therapy Cafe, Duxton Hill

My first time at cosy and classical cafe, Group Therapy Cafe. The cafe serves casual brunch. It is located on the second floor of the shophouses along Duxton Road. 

My friends and I went there at Friday 12pm. The cafe was crowded but we managed to get the seats.The cafe is designed with two different areas, leisurely cushion seats with book shelf at the corner and another area is the normal concrete seats. 

We ordered few recommended dishes:

 Poached eggs

Thick toast with smoked salmon, gruyere, hollandaise

My favourite!
A thick toast filled with poached eggs, together with smoked salmon, gruyere, and hollandaise sauce. The hollandaise sauce had covered the poached egg, the fantastic egg yolk was ozzing out. The egg white was very soft. It tastes good when eating the soaked thick toast with smoked salmon.

Country BBQ ribs with creamy potato mash

Prime beef ribs basted in honey BBQ gravy with mash potatoes and a caesar salad.
Most love the mash potatoes.

White chocolate cheese cake

Baked chilli crab pie

It was comprised of chunks of crab claw meat cooked in chilli crab sauce and baked in a sweet shortcrust butter pastry.  The pie wasn't too spicy.
